Because it's been so......cold here lately, our family has been spending LOTS of "quality" time inside. Unfortunately, I think the weather has caused our family to come down with an awful case of the winter blues. Saturday, we decided it was time to break the cabin fever, so we bundled ourselves up and headed uptown for a visit to Discovery Place.

Of course, EVERY ONE'S all-time favorite was the "air chair"!!!!!

After our visit to the museum, we enjoyed a trip to the ice cream shop!Even though we were experiencing arctic-like temps outside--
an ice cream cone will always hit the spot!!!
Hudson napped most of the time we were in Discovery Place, so I didn't get any pics of him there. I had to post this pic of us at the ice cream shop--
just so he doesn't feel left out when he reads this post one day;)!!!We all had such a wonderful time---
and this little trip was just what
we needed to get us out of our winter rut!!

I read your blog often (via Kelly's Korner) but I don't think I've ever commented before. My family live in the Charlotte area when I was growing up and we all LOVED Discovery Place! It's an awesome place to take the family, I was talking about it just the other day saying I wish I could take my kids there now.

Looks like the perfect solution for a super cold day! We have also had extremely cold and snowy weather! Wishing we had a cool place like that to escape to!
