So, this week we've spent some time getting our house ready for Christmas.
The three little ones "helped" me with the tree, while the big boys assisted Shane with all the outside decorations. It's definitely beginning to look like Christmas over here!
I don't have a ton of Christmas decor, so in order to help beef up what I DO have, I've turned to Pinterest this week for some inspiration. Of course, I found it there! I was able to complete several little Pinterest inspired projects, but my very favorite was making these chalk boards.
I think I may have gone a little overboard though, because there are now chalkboards displayed in every room of my house-ha!
And each one is screaming Christmas cheer!

I just LOVE decorating the house for the holidays. There's just something about Christmas lights that make things feel warm and cozy! This is definitely my MOST favorite time of the year and I can't wait to celebrate this glorious season with the ones I LOVE most!!!
The count down to Christmas is ON!!!!!!!

I love all your little burlap pendent banners. Adorable! Your mantle looks amazing too! I remember my granny having that ceramic tree with the lights :) your house looks so cozy!

You house looks beautiful for Christmas, as it does for every season! But I do agree with you, there is just something so special about how sparkly everything is at Christmas time! Your chalkboards are great, I love them & may have to add some here! I love how you can change the messages out for every season or occasion!
