A walk down gingerbread lane...

Yesterday, the kids and I met my friend, Celia, and her kiddos up at the Ballantyne Resort to tour their beautiful gingerbread house display.

Each holiday season, the hotel showcases creative gingerbread houses that will literally make you jaw drop.

Last year was our family's first year touring "Gingerbread Lane".

The kids and I had so...much fun that it definitely was a "must-do" on our holiday event list again this year.

We walked around each table "oohing and awing", and taking in every detail on each beautiful house.

Then, it was time to cast a vote on which one we liked best.

Oh, it was so hard to choose.

We liked them all and each one really did deserve to win.

Corban and I took some notes and got a few ideas to try when decorating
our house next year;)
Who knows...maybe one day we'll get good enough to enter the contest too!?!?! lol

Thanks! I know Sugie from summer camp at Camp Lurecrest. Then she dated my son, Jordan, for about a year! We LOVE Sugie! I think you look a lot like her!

We did our first gingerbread house this year. Believe me, it would take us YEARS of practice to enter into a contest. LOL Fun day!
