My Grandpa

Saturday morning my sweet Grandpa was taken to the hospital. His health has been deteriorating for some time now, but Saturday morning he took a turn for the worst. We were really afraid we might loose him over the weekend, but PRAISE JESUS, we did not!!

Would you please, please, please pray for my precious Grandpa?

(This picture was taken at my Grandpa's 77th birthday party this past August.)

My Grandpa has lived his life with a bold passion and love for the Lord that I truly admire! I love my Grandpa dearly. He truly means the world to me and I really can't imagine my life without him here.
The babies and I are heading to the hospital to visit with him this morning.
Please pray for his health to be restored and wisdom for the doctors who care for him.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

You're in my prayers. My Papaw died just 5 days after his 84th birthday. He too lived a life for and like Christ. I was NOT prepared for his death even though his health had deteriorated for months and months. 6 years later, I still miss him but I know he lived a good life & pray I see him one sweet day!

I cried as I read this, Jenny. I truly know how special grandparents can be. I lost my sweet grandpa 1 year ago this month. She was such an encourager, had a contagious laugh, loved her grandchildren..and more than that, loved the Lord! She taught me how to sew, cook, and crotchet. She was such a Godly woman. Grandparents are so special and I'm thankful that your grandparents and mine will leave such a legacy. I will be praying for your grandpa.

I will definitely be praying for your sweet Grandpa. I lost my Great-Grandmother in the spring of 1993. I was very young when she died, but I still miss her everyday. Grandparents alway seem to have that special bond nobody else can give you.

Dear Jenny: I will certainly lift your Grandpa up in prayer, as you have requested. From this and other posts you've had, it is encouraging to read of the impact his love for the Lord has had on your family. It is a privilege to pray for him. In Christ, Donna

Oh, I understand this totally. I lost my only Grandmother--an unbelievably special lady--one year ago on the 10th of this month. It is still so hard.

I will most certainly keep your Grandpa in prayer.
