Sayin' goodbye!!!!

I don't like "goodbye's".
No, I don't like them at all!!!

Monday evening, our family all gathered at my parents house to say goodbye to my brother Steve. Steve will be leaving on Friday for England!!!! He works for Hollisters (the clothing store) , and was offered a once in a lifetime opportunity helping set up and run a brand new store in London!!! This is a two year commitment. They will fly him home every six months or so, but that means he won't be here with us for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year!

We are so.........going to miss him!
We LOVE you Steve!

That is so great for Steve! He'll have a blast seeing a new place for while. My year living in England was one of the best of my life! You'll have to make a trip over to visit him while he's there, what a great opportunity!

Love the family group picture too!

What an exciting opportunity for Steve, but I know that you guys are going to miss having him around...you are just going to have to figure out a way to go visit!!

That is so exciting for him but a bummer for the family!

I just have to share this with you. I live in Germany and they just now opened up the first Hollister in Frankfurt Germany a couple months ago. I went to that mall 4 days ago and saw it from far away. Looks exactly like the ones in the states, then I looked again and something seemed off. There were over 50 ppl standing in line outside and there was someone like a body guard who would only let 5 people in at a time. Really weird and people seriously stood there for hours to buy clothes!

I hope the shop in England will be equally successful!!

My husband and I are based in London and moved here 2 years ago from California. We love it here, but it can be difficult to meet people. If Steve is looking for someone to meet up with to talk to about life in the City, let us know. We would be happy to share our experience with him or meet for dinner once he is here.
