Frosty Returns!

Well, this past weekend our area was hit by another winter storm. This time, instead of an icy mix, we got a beautiful blanket of pure white snow. It was LOVELY. It started snowing Friday evening, and by Saturday morning our neighborhood looked like a beautiful winter wonderland. Of course the kids couldn't wait to get outside and PLAY! So we suited up--- and out we went. This time, Sophie got to play in it too.

Bless her heart, I really didn't have the right "gear" for her. She had about a bazillion layers on, and her brothers old rain boots:)! She really wasn't too sure about all this cold white stuff anyway. She just kept staring at it, trying to figure what this was all about.

The boys had a BLAST, of course.

And the BEST part...this snow was PERFECT for building a snowman---or three!

Shane and the boys got to work and after about an hour or two...we had our very own Frosty, and two of his friends sitting in out front yard.
Unfortunately, the temps were just too warm for our snowmen friends to stick around very long. By the afternoon, our sweet snowmen had pretty much melted away.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Love the cute little snowmen. Out snow will not go away. We had another 10 inches yesterday, with more on the way. Your kids would love coming to my house!

I'm glad the boys had fun! I love your snowmen! We have about 3 feet of snow, and still can't build one-the snow doesn't stick!

Jenny,
So cute! I like how the snowmen seem to be staying put despite the sun shining down & the green grass peeking through in the photo! Sophie's boots reminded me of River's (my 4 year old) mismatched gloves (he lost 1 of each!).. I tell him it's better to be WARM then match. ;-) Blessings!

Awe, my boys would kill to make a snow man right about now. :) Looks like a blast, little Miss Sophie is so precious, so wish we lived near each other.

It is fun while it lasts, isn't it? Unless you are a minnesotan and it last forever! Great pics!
