Our Snow Day...

30 minutes------------ About how long it took me to get the boys all suited up to play outside in the snow!

20 minutes------------ About how long they actually played outside before telling me they were cold!!

Hot Cocoa, Hat Heads, Smiles, Memories!

------------------Priceless!

I want some snow! The closest thing we got to snow was 2 frosts in December, now we're back to the mid 70's low 80's. It's crazy how long it takes to 'suit up' and you're right, they're back in before you can sit down and relax. Does S.C. get much snow?

Cute post!!! All the prep is worth it, as long as we get pictures! My kids stayed out slightly longer, and then went out two more times. It was a fun day!! I don't know if I have told you that I love your new blog name... It is great!!!

Too cute they are! You got off easy! My boys 4 and now three did not care how cold it was when it snowed in Baton Rouge back in Dec. We got up at 6am and before 9 am we had been out in it twice!:) Definite memories that will last a lifetime! There is nothing like um!

Is there some way I could get intouch with you? I happen to come across your blog. I am 22 years old and had a total hysterectomy due to ovarian cancer this past year. My "dreams" for having children felt shattered! But I know the Lord has bigger and better plans for my fiance and I. We plan to adopt in the future. I saw your story about Sophie and busted into tears. My blog is www.danielandlyndsie.blogspot.com. and my email is lyndsiebrooker@hotmail.com. I would love to hear from you!!!

We live in Charlotte, NC. My daughter loved the snow too. I remember those days when it took longer to get them all bundled up (so we did not have to worry about them freezing), to have them get out there play for a few minutes to then realize how cold it is and need to come in and get warm. My daughter is now 12 and she got herself all dressed and ready and did not want to come in for hours. I think she knew that around here it may not last very long. LOL
I really enjoy your blog.
