My window mistreatments...

I've been very open and honest on my blog about my love and slight obsession for The Nesting Place. She has such great, practical home decorating ideas! This week I have given some of her ideas a try. I made rodless mistreatment's for the playroom and the boys room.

Here are the playroom mistreatments. I still have to add some fringe to give them that finished look.

And here is the boys room...

I am so happy with the way they turned out! They are definitely not perfect, but as the nester always says..."It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful." Now as soon as I find some fabric for the dining room, I'll be mistreating that room too. I can't wait!

Your curtains look so great! I really need to get some put up in my dining room. We have lived in our house for NINE YEARS with no window treatments! Thank goodness for my blinds. :)

Loved your garage sale post with your sisters. My sister, mom and I LOVE going to garage sales (just don't get to go as much now for some reason). Anyway...my sister always jokes that we have to stop about 11 for an early lunch, because I get grouchy! It is SO hot in Arkansas that I usually save garage sales for spring and fall!

I love them both! I have got to try hanging them on tacks. It is really a cute look.

Question...Where did you get the toile and stripe fabrics? I think I have seen them both at Wal-Mart, but had never thought to put them together.

Anyway, they are both really pretty treatments. Thanks for sharing!

I've never seen a look like this...I would never think to combine 2 fabrics and 2 types of treatment. This might work well for my daughter's room!!!
