What a wonderful day we had
celebrating our great country's birthday! 
I just
LOVE all things the July 4th holiday offers-- the weather, parades, cookouts, family, and
fireworks!!!
It's all so much fun!
I am so grateful to all the men and women who have served and fought for the
freedom that I enjoy!!
Shane spent six years in the marines and I am
so... proud of him for the time he spent serving our country!!
Once a Marine...always a Marine!
And as our family went about enjoying all the wonderful festivities and celebrations of the day, the song, "I'm proud to be and American" was continually playing in my head!
And I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I'd gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt
I love this land
God bless the U.S.A

I love the 4th, also!! I was singing "I'm Proud to be an American" all day yesterday, too.
