First of all, thank you sooooo much for all the sweet comments regarding AK's adoption video.
It was a lot of work to put together, but I pray it will be something Addy-Kate will come to cherish and treasure one day. As Shane and I spent several afternoons working on it, AK would climb up into our laps, point at the computer screen and shout "Addy, Addy, China, China" over and over again. She LOVES looking at pictures of herself and has already enjoyed watching her video too;)

So... here we are... already a week into the new year. The big boys are back in school, Shane has returned to work, and life at home is getting back to normal. Boy, did we sure enjoy our Christmas break, but it also feels good to get back into our routine again.
I LOVE the fresh, clean feeling that comes with the beginning of a new year. I am one of those people who enjoy making new years resolutions and setting goals for myself and my family.
I like to write them down and also share them with Shane as that holds me more accountable to follow through on my commitments.
My goals range from big to small, and fingers crossed, I hope I can stick with them all this year;)
Speaking of new years...we welcomed 2013 in at home with our sweet friends.
And even though none of us actually saw midnight, we still had fun ringing the new year in with Greenland at...8:00pm.
We wore our comfy PJ's, played several rounds of Just Dance on the Wii, and toasted the night with sparkling apple cider.
Now, that's MY kind of new years eve and the perfect way to kick start the new year.
Happy 2013!!!!!

LOVE this! What a wonderful & sweet way to ring in the New Year!! That pic of Bryan & Shane hittin' the bottle is hysterical!! I'm still telling everyone I see "Happy New Year!" and I can't believe we are almost 1/2 way through January already!!
I was in bed well before midnight as well. Logan and I went to the local skating rink for a mini new years eve at 3 and I think I was in bed by 10.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful year!
