Pool Time

So AK's first couple of days home have been sweet!
The fact that Shane is off from work for one more week definitely helps this transition time go a little more smoothly.
Addy-Kate is having a hard time adjusting to her new time zone, so right now our nights are a bit challenging;)
I'm praying that her body will get the message soon, so we ALL can get the rest we desparetly need.
Overall though, everyone is doing well and over joyed that Addy-Kate is FINALLY here.
At the dinner table tonight, Sophie exclaimed..."Aren't you glad Addy-Kate is sitting here with us now?!?!
She'll be with us FOREVER and EVER, right?!?!"
Yup...that's right baby girl...FOREVER AND EVER;)
We have not jumped back into a busy schedule yet, but attempting to keep things as simple as possible!
Our days have been lazy...
as we spend time at the pool
and attempting to get EVERYONE over this awful jet lag;)

Congratulations on your new daughter! I've been struck by how much she resembles your other children with her smile - she fits right in.

You are amazing with how well you have adjusted. She looks like she has always been a part of your family. So happy she gets to be with you forever and ever. Praying that she adjusts to a better sleep schedule.

Ohhhh.... Jenny.... That jet lag is a BEAR!!! I believe it was honestly a full week before we felt back to normal around here. And, for little AK,she will adjust soon too! 12 hours is a HUGE difference. It took Tulah some time too, and I am with you... those first few days, and esp nights were pretty rough. You are right to just keep things simple and enjoy the lazy days! So glad that Shane is able to be home this week too. Michael was home for 5 days after we got back, and that was a huge help!!!

Call me sometime if you need to chat, all of this is still fresh in my mind!! And I really would love to meet up one day and meet you in person, and for our girls to meet! Isn't that neat, they are the same age, from the same country on the other side of the world, and now will live half an hour from each other?!? That's pretty cool!!

Praying that everyone gets rested up and feeling back to normal REALLY soon!!!!

All of this just brings me joy! I get so excited everytime i read your blog. Love your first family picture and love the picture of Corban and Addy Kate sitting on the side of that pool, look at that leg kicking in the water so straight and pointed, you might have a dancer or gymnast on your hands :) She is beautiful!

Congratulations on your new little one. I love reading your blog. Your family is just precious. I have a son named Corbin. He seems a lot like your Corban. My Corbin is so sweet and really sensitive just like your Corban seems to be.
