A Little Valentine Fun

February is HERE and Valentines Day is literally just around the corner!!!
I seriously can't believe it!
Today, the kids and I decided to get busy and have us some Valentine fun!

My sweet Riley, who is ALWAYS ready to lend a helping hand, assisted me in the set up.
We decorated, and got the house looking rather festive.
We're now ready to celebrate the upcoming
 holiday of L-O-V-E.

The precious Valentine garland, that my boys made several years ago,
was once again hung on the mantle and over the stove in the kitchen!

Oh, and I also found this simple and easy project over at Tatertots and Jello
and decided to give it a try.

All you need are a few frames, scrapbook paper, and some floral marbles.
This was super quick to put together and very inexpensive!
LOVE the way it turned out!!

Not only did we decorate the house,

but we got busy in the kitchen, doing a little baking as well.

And since we were all about Valentines Day, we made some yummy
X's and O cupcakes, that went along with our theme for the day.

I also made a festive Valentines Day wreath (following this tutorial) to hang on my pantry door.

(A wreath for the front door is in the works too, but I just didn't get a chance to finish is yet.)

I thought it turned out pretty cute---if I do say so myself;)
And just in case you were wondering...
while I busied myself with this wreath, the kids worked hard on a wreath of their own...

Using lots of glue...

Adding lots of details...

 Creating a masterpiece;)

Three BEAUTIFUL V-day wreaths, proudly displayed for all to see!

You are one crafty mom! Love all of your creations and those of your children. I especially love the "love" picture frames. Not only are you creating memories, but a warm and inviting house. :)

Much love to you today,
Stacy

I {heart} all of your Valentine's Day decorations! I have been working on "loving" up our house a bit, but haven't gotten very far yet...I'm slow moving these days!
And I agree with Celia, we need to get something going to celebrate YOUR special day!
