Shane had the day off from work today. And even though Cor missed several days of school last week because of the snow, he still had the day off too!!! YAY!!!
So today we woke up early and headed out to our favorite breakfast place--Johnny K's! Now, our family doesn't really go out to eat very much at all. For one, it's expensive, and two it's just plain difficult to enjoy a meal at a restaurant with our babies.
They don't like to sit still for too long and waiting for the food sometimes is torturous.

I will have to say though, the babies are getting so MUCH better to take out.
Maybe it's because they're getting older, or maybe it's just because they are more easily entertained, but they seriously are much more enjoyable to take out to eat.
After breakfast, we headed over to visit with my Grandpa for a while. We enjoyed a sweet time, before it was off to the main event of the day...
Roller Skating!
And yes...even the babies did a little skating today.
Oh.my.goodness did they ever look cute in their tiny skates.
After a while though, they got tired of skating and found a new way to get around the rink;)
This was only Ri's second time skating ever, but he did great and had so much fun!
Of course, with a little help from Daddy, both boys were zooming around the rink in no time.
I'm still not sure if we spent more time on our bottoms or our skates.
Either way though, a wonderful time was enjoyed by all!
Oh how I {heart} long weekends!

That is such a wonderful family adventure! I am so impressed that you even brought the little ones...it inspires me to plan some fun outings with my family...we do have a roller skating rink in the area but I haven't been on skates since I was a kid! :) I wasn't very good then, either. Cute, cute photos.
