Happy New Year Everyone!
I, for one, am very excited about all the things that God has in store for us in 2011. We are praying BIG things---God things---for our family this coming year. I can't wait to share more, but for now I wanted to take a moment and reminisce about God's blessings that were showered on our family in 2010! The Lord has been so faithful and I NEVER want to forget, or take for-granted His goodness!!
~JANUARY
The fog that accompanied the addition of two babies in only seven months of time was beginning to lift.
~JANUARY
The fog that accompanied the addition of two babies in only seven months of time was beginning to lift.
We no longer had two infants, but TWO (in to EVERYTHING) toddlers!
Being "busy" took on a whole new meaning for Shane and I;)
~FEBRUARY
I reluctantly turned the big 3--0!!!
~MARCH
Corban lost his first tooth and
Riley learned to ride a two wheeler--woo hoo!
~APRIL
My precious baby boy turned ONE!
~MAY
We celebrated the gift of adoption with other Christian Adoption Service (CAS) families,
did some strawberry pickin'!
and Shane and I were able to get away together for a weekend trip to NY city!
~JUNE
was a BIG month for our family...
Corban turned 7,
we celebrated Father's Day,
AND... sweet Miss "A" joined our family through foster care!
~JULY
We celebrated the 4th---one of my favorite holidays!
~AUGUST
We packed up and headed to the beach!
~SEPTEMBER
We celebrated two very special little girls!
Sophie Lu turned TWO!!!!!!!!!!
And "A" turned SIX!!!
~OCTOBER
Pumpkin' pickin' time,
Halloween
and I ran my FIRST marathon!!!
~NOVEMBER
will always be remembered as bittersweet.
We had to say "good bye" to our precious "A",
we welcomed our new addition Molly ;)
AND gave thanks for all the Lord's blessings in our lives!
~DECEMBER
Sweet RiRi turned five
we celebrated Jesus' birthday,
AND made some decisions regarding our 2011!
YES...2010 was a wonderful year!
I am humbled and thankful for all the Lord has done,
and look forward with great anticipation to what He has in store for us in 2011!
May it be our best year yet!

Jenny, I'm so excited to hear what's in store for your cute little family this year. How did I miss the marathon thing? Congrats on that huge accomplishment, you can motivate me for my half then k? :) I'll need it. Loved all the pics, you guys have had an eventuful year.

What a great post, Jen! Its always so good to look back and see how God has been so good to us and so faithful. I know He will continue to do so in this next year. Praying your family will be ready and obedient to whatever He calls you to in 2011! Love ya!
I just have to say what an inspiration your family is. I think God has to hand-pick people to be foster parents. I can't imagine the heartbreak of them leaving. I'm sure that God gives you comfort in knowing that you are helping a little soul. Can't wait to hear more about your journey.
