Hudson has just recently developed quite an infatuation with the... ahem...
toilet.
Today...JUST today alone, I have fished out a sippy cup lid, two full rolls of toilet paper, a Tom and Jerry dvd (which belonged to the library---ugh!), a toilet paper roll, and a bath towel out of the commode!
All from different toilets, and all found at different times of the day!
We keep the bathroom doors closed (for the most part), but that's not a deterrent anymore.
No, Hud's figured out how to open the door now!
This kid is seriously driving me CRAZY;)

Oh no! That's too funny that he likes throwing things in the toilet so much. My son is a dumper too but mostly in the trashcan or bathtub.
I had to resort to different kinds of door covers to prevent that! I have a Hudson too and I'm sure he's going to drive me JUST as crazy:) :)
Oh my goodness! You better not take your eyes off him :)
He sure makes up for it with his cuteness!
Oh my word, Jenny, yikes! You must be thinking the same thing I've thought about my boys in the midst of their crazy antics over the years- good thing they're cute!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is a quick-moving phase! Good luck! :)
Oh man, what a little stinker! :) I had a friend who installed toilet seat locks...it worked, but one time I was in the bathroom and couldn't figure out how to get the thing off the toilet! ;) She had to come rescue me....kind of embarrassing!
my son used to do that too, so i put one of those safety things over the doorknob so he couldnt open it. problem was....he figured out how to use the safety knob, but my cleaning lady didnt....so it kind of defeated the purpose :)
Oh, but he's a CUTE little stinker! What a day though! Hopefully he hasn't figured out how to flush yet, lol! We have to keep an eye on Drew, too, but he's more likely to throw things in the trash!
Oh you poor thing. It's rough being a mom huh?!? I remember that fun stage...the toilet. :/
A few times I found Sophia with the little white covers (that go over the screws at the toilet base) in her mouth!!! GAG!! I'm dry heaving just thinking about it.
Hang in there and have a fun weekend. Thanks for your encouraging words! :) I so need them this week.
How funny! We don't have a toilet issue (at least not yet) but we have a door and light issue. Grant is obsessed with turning lights off and on and since he can't reach the lights it is all he wants anyone to do. Pick him up and let him turn then off and on. Even if we go to a store or friends house it is hilarious because he is always looking for the lights. Oh and all doors have to be ever closed or open. He can't have it any other way!
He is just so cute!!! Here's to hoping that his affinity for the "toilet" changes quickly, until he is ready to potty train! :)
Hang in there.
Much love,
Stacy
But he is just soooooo darn cute!!!
