Our Family Zoo that is.
Yes, I have been known to affectionately refer to our lovely abode as a "ZOO" from time to time. It gets loud, sometimes stinky, and some days I feel like I'm living with a pack of (oh so cute) animals;)
Let me introduce you to our WILD bunch...
We have Hudson the giraffe, "A" the cheetah, Riley the tiger, Sophie the elephant, and Corban the panther.
Corban was allowed to wear his beloved Panther jersey as part of his costume. That was the ONLY way I could convince him to dress up like an animal and be part of our family zoo;)!

And here you have the two CRAZY zoo keepers!
We had a great group of fellow trick-or-treater's join us for all the fun Halloween festivities!
"A" was so...excited that her mom was coming for the evening.
My brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece Makayla came over to our house.
How cute are these two!?!?
My sisters KK and...
Al came for some trick-or-treating fun too.
Our neighborhood is FULL of kids and on Halloween night the streets are just a sea of little trick-or-treaters.
It's so much fun seeing everyone out and about in their cute costumes!
Miss Sophie LOVED going door to door. At first she didn't quite understand the "just take one piece of candy" rule!
She, of course, wanted the entire bowl.
After prying the bowl of candy away from her several times, and only a few embarrassing melt-downs on the sidewalk,
she FINALLY got the hang of it.
After a trip around our neighborhood, it was time to head home and feed our hungry herd!
All that trick-or-treatin' made for some pretty hearty appetites!
Of course, a piece or two of candy was promised to the ones who cleaned their plates.
That may have motivated them a little;)
And just in case you were wondering...
All our Halloween fun didn't just take place on Sunday.
Oh no sirree...
Friday the"big" kids had LOADS of pre-Halloween activities and parties going on at school.
"A" celebrated Scarecrow Day!
All kindergartners were asked to dress up like scarecrows and be ready for a day full of fall fun!
Corban celebrated "Character Day".
He was asked to dress up like a book character from one of his favorite books.
He choose Bagheera from "Jungle Book".
Why you ask...because he wanted to be a black Panther--big surprise there;)
Riley also had lots of Halloween fun at school too.
His morning started with a fun costume parade.
All the kids marched through the halls of school, showing off their adorable costumes.
A tail waggin' good time was had by all!!
