Some YUMMY summer fun...

So today the kids and I made "Pail of Sand Cake"! I've been on the hunt for a fun, summer, kid-friendly recipe to try as a way to not only welcome "A" into our home, but also to just celebrate the month of July! I came across this one and thought it seemed just right!

It was super easy and the kids could do most of the assembling themselves.

Of course, most of the fun was had while sampling the ingredients;)!!!

...And the finished product!
Bring on JULY!!!!

Your kids are so cute. "A" looks like she should be your biological child. Praying for your family.

Just came across your blog through Kelly's Korner and your story just made me tear up! I am so glad that there are still people out there that whole-heartedly follow and seek after God! I'll be praying for "A" and your family! So excited to keep reading!!

I used to subscribe to Family Fun magazine but now that I follow your blog I get plenty of ideas without even receiving the magazine. Could you just go ahead and post whatever cute creative patriotic thing you are going to make before I go to the store? haha! What a precious family you have and what an inspiration it is to share in the journey that God is leading your family along!
