A little of this and that...

Happy New Year!!!!!!!
Wow, I can't believe it 2010!!!
Even typing that seems weird
=).

2009 was a WONDERFUL, yet very busy/crazy =) year for our family.
I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us in twenty ten!!!

We have so enjoyed this first week of the new year!
Shane took some much needed time off from work, and he has been home since Christmas eve day.
We have so........enjoyed having him home with us!!
We really haven't done anything too exciting or eventful this week, but I honestly think that's why we have enjoyed our time so much.

We started the week off with a long "to do' list and we have steadily marked things off each day. Most of our days though have been spent doing a little of this...

hangin' on the couch with daddy
playin' the Wii........

or this

stayin' in our cozy pj's ALL DAY long....

or this

being silly with Daddy...

or this

makin' this little guy smile =)!

Shane and I did manage to sneak away for a few hours this weekend to...

Outback Steakhouse

one of our favorite restaurants, for a date night.

It was a great way to end a wonderful week!

Monday morning...
it's back to reality!=)

What a dear post! Nice to hear you had some good, relaxing family time. Your top in that last photo is beautiful! We had little get-away date ourselves (Olive Garden lunch).. I have always enjoyed Outback. Take care!

Wonderful photos of a great, relaxing week! Ours was very similar & it has been SO nice, I agree. It has made me really appreciate slowing down a bit!
Blessings to you & your sweet family in 2010!

Yup, back to reality today here, too. Sigh. :)
