Christmas Celebrations!

Saturday afternoon I had the privilege of attending our churches annual Christmas Tea.

This is truly an event I look forward to ALL year long. Each table in the room is beautifully decorated by a different lady from our church. Every table is different, unique, and special.
Oh, how I just LOVE walking around the room, taking in all the lovely Christmas decorations.

My mom, sisters, Grandma, and Aunt all were there to enjoy the wonderful afternoon with me!

It is such a special time to be together and also turns our focus to the TRUE meaning of Christmas

--the reason we celebrate---

the precious birth of our Savior and Lord!

Saturday evening, Shane and I had a wonderful time at our Sunday School
class Christmas party.

It was such an elegant evening, hosted by Sam and Ginger, a wonderful family in our class.

Ginger truly has the gift of hospitality and every last detail was well thought out and beautifully done!
The tables were gorgeous!

One of my favorite parts of the evening is when we all gathered around the piano and sang Christmas carols.

We also played a fun little game while we sang the 12 days of Christmas....
Ginger had 12 envelopes each filled with a costume representing a day in the carol.
Whoever picked that envelope had to put the costume on and sing their day of Christmas.

Here is the "partridge in the pear tree"...

...and here is one of the "nine ladies dancing"!

What a fun night...full of laughs, sweet fellowship, and great friends!
