Yesterday, the boys and I had fun making a watermelon ice cream bombe! My mom used to make it for us when we were growing up! It definitely makes a festive and fun summertime dessert.

I love your pictures! Can you tell me the name of the photographer? Also, I believe you may have gone to school with my husband. Did you by any chance go to Bible Baptist?
What a great idea! It looks so yummy.

Yummy looks good! I'll have to make that sometime. I like your new blog look!
This looks so yummy and refreshing. I'm going to try it with my girls this week! Maybe it will cool us off from this 100 degree weather!
Looks so yummy! I could have that for breakfast.
Love this idea. Can't wait to try it!!! Thanks
That looks good! I'll have to make that for the kids this week!

This looks refreshing and delicious! I know this will be a hit with my boys who are 12 and 14! Thanks for the recipe link. I have friends who'll want to try this, too. We are in the midst of a heat wave in Sacramento, so creative ideas to make the heat more tolerable are great!
We are just outside of Charlotte, in Harrisburg. And yep, I am married to Steve Best. He laughed when I showed him your comment, he was surprised that you remembered him. :-) I was really drawn to your blog when you had just the two boys and hopes of adopting. We also have two sons and would love to adopt a baby someday. Your family is so beautiful and you make it all look so easy! Have a great week!
YUMMY Jenny!!! I will be making this! BTW... My 13 yr. old son Jordan said to tell you , you did a really good job! (I asked him did he want me to make this and he said on ya! lol)
Do you know that this is my favorite icecream!!! I can't get it in Texas but they sell it in NY (where i'm from) at a place called Friendlys. It's called a Wattamelon Roll!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!
