Just a quick trip...

So Shane and I decided to make a quick run to Walmart the other day! We only needed a few things and I was ready to get out of the house for an hour or so.

This is picture of the babies and all the "stuff" we needed to take with us in order to run one quick errand?!?!?! Shane and I were exhausted just from packing for our outing. You would have thought we were going to be gone for days!

And this is a picture of our back seat- now with THREE car seats stretched across the back. Thankfully we have a third row for Corban, or we would have to strap him to the roof. =)
Needless to say, we are now in the market for a mini van!

Found you thru my friend Kelly. Your family is beautiful! Yes, when I had my first 3, they were 2,1, and 0. We had those car seats crammed together, too. Now they are old enough to buckle their little brother and sister in. It goes fast!

What a sight! You have to figure out a routine to make sure they all fit and in the right order:)

We have 4 car seats as well! It is so amazing the energy used buckling 4 in and out in and out and then getting them in and out of the car.
When you have a brief moment (I know, HA, right?) Could you email me at stefanies67@verizon.net Stefanie

I'm over from Kelley's blog and with 4 small children ourselves we know exactly what your talking about...and I don't know how you lived w/o a Van this long. We have a Nissan guest and we love it!! Be sure to check them out...It's more terndy than the type van for the hipe mommy:)

also a good idea for the trips we have found to be GREAT,is instead of packing every time you leave...buy a couple cheap diaper bag at Walmart pack them every thing you need. I normally repack them ever Sunday if needed ..so you just get the drinks(bottles) and go!!!
some of the stuff I added
diapers
diaper rash med
bulb syringe
Kleenex
toys
breast pads if nursing
toys
teeth ointment
wipes
GermX
meds(child/infant motrion)
snacks (cheerios/fruit snakes etc)
xrtra pacies
extra nipples
xtra clothes in the car at all times!!

Hope this helps I encourage you to try it it made of lives lest hectic leaning to run errors....and these bags NEVER come inside:)

Mom of 4 kids....age 9 6-5-3
Blessing!

That is tooo funny! I loved seeing the pictures though!!!! thats why we had to upgrade to a Yukan XL (like a suburban.) We could not fit everyone in the minivan anymore! There is so much more room now!!!

Life certainly is an adventure! It is fun that you are documenting even the ordinary, everyday memories!! I hope you have a bigger vehicle soon. (Now, my strategy would have been: "Mommy needs to run to the store by herself..."!!) Blessings!

Do you have a twin stroller for when you will go out by yourself with all of them? Or a little snuggly thing to carry one in? I am sure that would help with getting around a lot!
I also think it would be great to have one diaper bag always packed in the car or somethign like that. That way you always knew you had everything with you and wouldnt have to do it every time. And everytime you come back replace the stuff you used with new stuff!! I am sure you would be out the house a little faster!!!

Those pics sure are soo adorable. Sophie looks so tiny in her car seat!! She really is beautiful!!
I hope you guys have a wonderful week!!

How funny is that! Isn't it unbelievable how much "stuff" you have to take with you when you go anywhere with kids!

One of my friends at church says that he didn't become a father, he became a pack mule! lol

Good luck on the mini van search!

LOL Jenny, I can totally relate! It takes me MULTIPLE trips to the car to get everything & everyone all buckled in! And thankfully 3 of mine can walk & 2 can buckle themselves!!
A minivan is a necessity!

That is amazing.... So much for such tiny people. I would love it though... They are so precious.
My sister who is also a mom of 4 waited until she absolutely had to have the minivan..... She was sooo funny. We both love your blog.....
and are so glad Hudson is doing better and your whole family is in our prayers.

PS when you guys decide to go van shopping, our stepdad is gm at Hendrick Honda on S Blvd. Let him know that you are Heather and Alyson's blog friends and he will take great care of you...If you are interested let myself or Heather(aka Love and Laughter) know and we will give you his name.

Good job! Getting all of that together, and making it out of the house for a breather is quite a workout!

Hope you find your dream van! :)
