Well...our bags are officially packed, and the car is being loaded!
In just a few short hours we'll be Georgia bound!!!
Savannah Rock N' Roll Marathon...ready or not...here we come!
I am super excited about our weekend and to be running this race with two very sweet friends.
It should be a lot of fun! I'll be honest though, the ONE thing I am looking forward to most about our little get-a-way is...
eating some good ole' southern cooking at Lady and Son's--Paula Deen's restaurant!
We have reservations for lunch there after we finish our race!
Can you say pass the fried chicken and banana pudding, please!?!?
Mmmmm!
That right there may be enough motivation for me to run fast and finish quickly;)

Have fun! I adore Savannah. We went for a weekend in October last year to volunteer at Steven Curtis Chapman's concert. Have a blast!

If you ever get the chance I highly recommend Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House Restaurant. I think it is only open during the week not weekends. I think it's alot better than Lady and Sons. Have a wonderful trip-I love Savannah.
Small world....I have a friend who was running a half marathon in Savannah this weekend! It was her first! I hope you did well. Can't wait to hear more. :)
You have 4 kids, you make beautiful Halloween costumes, you have a wonderfully clean home AND YOU RUN MARATHONS!!! What don't you do. Let me add this to my reasons why I want to be you! ;)
Hope it went well. My cousin ran it too. Maybe one day I will take up running again.
