Last night, I took the kiddos to the Ballantyne Hotel to see their Gingerbread House display! We met up with my mom, Al, B, and her sweet family to take the tour together.
Oh My GOODNESS---the houses (more like mansions) were AWESOME!!!

They ALL looked good enough to EAT!!!
As we walked through the display, you got to pick your favorite Gingerbread house, and then vote for it at the end.
Christmas in Paris!
Sophie and I liked this PINK one!
She wanted to get her hands on it and take a bite--ha!
Most of us voted for THIS one!
We thought it was so pretty and quaint!
Uncle Matt and the boys!
Hudson and Grammy
Earlier in the week the boys had fun putting together their own gingerbread house!
Theirs got my vote...
and YES, we definitely got to sample it! YUM!!!!
Have you made a gingerbread house yet?

We went to see all the gingerbread houses too!...voted for the "santa's barn" they were so cool, the kids LOVED going! Then we came home and did our own houses(well, Ian did a train) it was such a fun way to start off our own gingerbread house inspirations!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they had that, but it looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWant to hear something very sad? We've never done a gingerbread house here at home. The kids have always done one in school and I did one that year at MOPS (that one was a disaster)...Maybe this year will be our year!
ReplyDeleteWe've never made a Gingerbread House, either! I think my dog would find a way to eat it! Loved the pictures of all the houses!
ReplyDeleteI accidentally stumbled upon your blog over the weekend when I was searching for how to make a Christmas tree out of powedered donuts ~ don't know why you popped up! But I'm glad you did... we have kids similar in ages (5, 3 and 5 months for me) and you make it look so easy! You have a beautiful family, and it looks like you all have so much fun with them!
