Saturday morning we headed to our county courthouse to celebrate National Adoption Day. Our family, along with 59 other families, finalized adoptions during a special ceremony that day.
We were so excited to participate in the days events and of course finally finalize Sophie's adoption. It was so... sweet to be there and witness so many other families becoming FOREVER families as well. So many happy tears were shed!There were carnival- like games and refreshments set up in the lobby of the courthouse.

It's official...We're FINAL!!!!Together FOREVER and EVER!!!!!!!!
That brings tears to my eyes... What a special day!! It's such a great feeling I remember the day we finalized Seth's adoption!!

Yeah!!! So glad its final! I did happen to notice that Grandma didn't have a baby in her arms...I think she should've borrowed Jackson! :-)

We have four adopted children, so I know the feeling. There are no words to describe. Finalization is somewhat of a relief! She is yours! Congratulations! :)
