Show and Tell Friday

One of my favorite blogs that I love to read is Kelli’s House. She always has great recipes to try and fun craft ideas. She has great tips on entertaining and how to make you house into a cozy home! She also is a bargain shopper and finds great little “knick knacks” at thrifts stores and yard sales. If you know me…I am a yard sale girl! Anyway, every Friday she hosts a Show and Tell. I have always wanted to participate, but haven’t done so until today…

Welcome to “Show and Tell Friday!” Do you have something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Look around your home for something to share; dig through those boxes in your closet if you have to! Share photos and the story that goes with your special item.

This is my Grandmothers silver tea set. She received it as a wedding when she married my grandfather 53 years ago. She passed it to me as a special gift. It’s a true treasure to me.

I proudly display it on the book shelf in my living room.

I know my grandparents read my blog, so this is for them… I love you both so much and I’m so thankful that God blessed me with such wonderful and godly grandparents!
