Lake Fun

We were beyond blessed to spend a weekend visiting our sweet friends, the Howard's, at their lake house.
With our fishy cupcakes ready...
we were off for some FUN in the SUN!
Our friends are always so gracious to host our crew
and the kids always have the BEST time hanging out together!
The weather screamed "summer" as temps climbed into the mid 90's,
but that just made our time on the lake that much more enjoyable.
My kids absolutely LOVE the water and thoroughly enjoy every water activity possible.
Boating, Tubing, Swimming, Fishing, and Jet Skiing...
What ever it was...they were willing and ready!

We are so grateful for our precious friends, AND (most importantly) for the time and sweet memories we made with them over the weekend!!!!

July 4th Fun

We had such a sweet day celebrating our GREAT countries birthday!
We are so blessed to live in a country where we are FREE! Free to worship, free to dream, free to love, free to live! I don't EVER want to take that freedom for granted, or forget the price at which that freedom has come by!

July 4th morning, we all got dressed in our red, white, and blue and headed out the door for our neighborhoods bike parade.
Sophie's patriotic hair;)
The kids had worked so hard the day before prepping their bikes and scooters for the fun.

The kids had the best time with their friends as they cruised the hood on their patriotic set of wheels.

Addy-Kate was all SMILES!
Sweet Hud!
Ready to GO!
Love all the READ, WHITE and BLUE!!!
The kids were greeted with ice cold popsicles at the end of the parade route!

After the bike parade, we headed to our little towns 4th of July parade!
The kids had fun playing a few carnival games...
 jumping on the bounce houses...
and dancing on the green before the parade began.

Most floats throw candy for the kids to grab,
but one float was throwing SNOW into the crowd.
How fun is THAT?!?!?
PERFECT for a HOT July day;)
The kids think it's AWESOME that even the garbage truck is in the parade;)

We are so proud to be AMERICANS!!!
God Bless the USA!!!

Father's Day and VBS

Yes...I'm still playing catch up, but bear with me...I'm almost done;)
Father's Day was such a special day in our house. We love celebrating all the wonderful men in our life, and Shane is definitely one of the best!!! He loves us unconditionally, serves us wholeheartedly, provides for us sacrificially and makes us laugh hysterically!! We are beyond thankful for him and all he is to our family! We are thank the Lord for giving us the gift of him!
The day after Father's Day, we kicked off a fabulous week of VBS fun!
I was beyond blessed to spend my week praising Jesus with this AWESOME group of third graders.

The kids had an absolute blast, and each day they couldn't wait to go back for more!
Riley was in my group this year, and we had a GREAT time together!

We have been attending a new church since the beginning of the year, so VBS was a super time to meet new people and make lots of new friends.
It was such a fun week and we all were blessed to be a part!
