A New Tutorial and Some Monogram Fun

***Updated***
Fixed the link to the tutorial!

Is it tacky if EVERYTHING we own now has a monogram on it? (grin)
Shane says he's getting a little nervous, and thinks that I may be going slightly overboard with this whole monogram thing.
I say...Is there such a thing as overboard when it comes to monogramming--lol!?!?!?

I do LOVE my new embroidery machine and I do think EVERYTHING looks much cuter with a name on it...
so I guess he's right--I am going a little monogram CRAZY over here!!
Oh well...I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! (smile)

I had so much fun sewing this past week.
I made several outfits for my kids (and my niece and nephew) to wear on our upcoming trip to the beach next week!

I also completed a few gifts for friends...
and just happened across a new and easy t-shirt dress tutorial that I'm totally LOVIN' too !!!
Can't seem to attach the link so see the web address below!.

I tried making several this week, and was quite pleased with the results!

If you want a simple and easy sewing project...give it a try;)

Happy Monday/crafting Everyone!!!

I love my machine too! And I love all the things you post and the way you coordinate your kids clothes! (well at least those that you post on your blog). My husband cautions me all the time to watch putting names on clothes due to a "stranger" then knows their name and if called by their name a child just might go to them. He thinks names should be left only to church bags which are for the purpose of the teacher knowing which bag is your childs. I try to stick to initials for safety!

Jenny-

Thank you for your sweet tutorial! LOVE the dresses that you always make Miss Sophie, and I can't wait to try my skills on my baby girl who is due this September.

The boys look adorable too, and you can never have too many monogrammed clothes (especially here in the South ha!) I'm sure you have loved having an embroidery machine so far and will get lots of use out of it. I am still trying to convince my hubs to let me get one, but first I have to tackle my sewing projects.

You always make the cutest outfits! What kind of machine did you get? I've been thinking about getting one for awhile. This post will probably push me over the edge. Ha!

that dress is adorable!!! How do you make sure you get all of your pins up afterward? Do you count them? I've only made one outfit ever...I stepped on a pin days later and have been too scared to try it again with little ones around.
