Saturday was a kind of dreary and rainy day. Both Riley's soccer and Corban's football games were canceled. Everyone was disappointed, so in order to lift the mood, we decided to head out to our favorite breakfast place...Johnny K's!!!
Later that morning we headed over to Gatorfest-- a fair type fundraiser at Corban's school.
It was misting and chilly the entire time we were there, but the kids had fun despite the weather!

Later that evening, Shane and I got to sneak away for a few hours to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary.We headed uptown to Chima's!
Shane has been dying to try out this new restaurant! It was really good. I think the best part was just getting to sit down together and carry on a conversation. At home, we barely get to finish a sentence before one of us is needed or distracted. We so...needed an evening away!It was wonderful!
